Most of these baby bunting Halloween costumes are fairly warm, but if going outside, put these outfits on over other clothing. Some are lightweight.

What are you going to put your little snickerdoodle into this Halloween? You can’t let your baby girl or baby boy go around with no costume. Boo hoo. Infant fancy dress costumes are one of the big joys of a young parent’s life. However, your little one needs something like bunting to keep him or her warm when the spooky wind blows.

Bunting costumes are similar to little sleeping bags and they work best for newborns or children who are happy hanging out in strollers. The following costumes are mostly unisex, but some outfits seem a bit more girly or masculine than others. But, hey, it’s Halloween so you can dress your little monkey however you like.

Even people who don’t have kids will love looking at these adorable photos. Enjoy.

Infant Costumes for Boys

If you want your little guy to be all snuggly, check out these costumes.

  • Baby Pirate Costume: Hey, it’s baby’s first pirate outfit. And, it won’t be his last because buccaneers are hip.
  • Baby Vampire Costume: I think the whole family should go vampire. Well, this little guy doesn’t have his fangs yet.

  • Baby Elephant Costume: This is so silly, but it’s great for little Republican newbies.
  • Baby Dinosaur Costume: This little tot looks nice and warm.
  • Baby Football Costume: Look around to find soccer, baseball and other sports costumes. It’s a good idea to cruise the internet for the best prices. Most of these costumes can be found in more than one store.
  • One Step Ahead Baby Lobster Costume: Every year this is one of the most popular outfits and it never fails to bring smiles.
  • Baby Woopie Cushion: I hesitate to recommend this costume. It is so bad, but it is funny. Just don’t make a baby girl wear this.

Baby Girl Halloween Costumes

Here are some cute and cuddly costumes for your newborn baby girl.

  • Infant Bunny Costume: This will be adorably sweet on your little honey bunny.
  • Newborn Piggy in a Blanket: You must try this outfit if your baby has a fat little face. Just imagine the pictures you will get.
  • Infant Mermaid Costume: This outfit doesn’t look very warm but it will make a fab indoor costume. If you have twins, the other baby could wear a Baby Nemo Clown Fish Costume.
  • Ballerina Princess Bunting Costume: Try Amazon.com, but for all of these costumes, look around to find the best price.
  • Infant Baby Girl Princess Costume: Ha ha. How do they get those kids to smile like that? This costume looks like it’s better for girls who can sit up. Otherwise, I think the hat might get smashed or fall off. But, it’s so cute.
  • Baby Daisy Flower Costume This baby seems to be saying, "Why me?"

Baby Bug Costumes

Infant bugs and creepy crawly critters continue to be popular.

Unisex Halloween Costumes

Everyone loves these outfits and they are equally appropriate for a boy or a girl.

Infant Candy Costumes

There are M&Ms costumes all over the internet, but you can find other candy outfits for your sweetie.

Whether you are making your own costume or taking the easy way out and buying something online, make sure your infant’s costume makes people say, “Oh, isn’t that sweet,” or “OMG, that’s so mean…ha ha ha.” Remember, you only get to make your kids look ridiculous when they’re little. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
