Baby girls need clothes that are cute hip and unique. Why look silly in pink? Baby can totally rock her new funky punk, hippie, or rock and roll clothing.

Some infants have more style than others. Who wants to wear the same thing as every other girl? Rock, tattoo, hippie, retro, and punk baby clothes are found on many internet sites, so moms, dads, and grandmas might be able to score a few sale items with a bit of browsing.

Baby Hippie Clothes

Here are some hot sites. But, look around for deals.

  • Ooh La La Mama: Butterfly onesie, Pinky Wink onesie. Available in 0-3mo, 3-6mo, 6-9mo, 9-12mo, 12-18mo, 18-24mo sizes. Double check the sizes as these run small.
  • Sol-Baby.com: Cozy Bug Tie-Dye Pillowcase Dress. 100% cotton tie-dye fabric, made in USA. Look around at other shops for Cozy Bug items, but make sure that the store donates money from each sale to a good charity.
  • MommyCoutureDesigns.com: Light Pink Tie Dye Peace Sign Onesie.
  • BabyWit.com: Frieda Kahlo Peasant Dress, yellow Jimi Hendrix dress.

Buy Baby Attire on Etsy.com

Etsy.com is a very hippie-chic type of place because most of its offerings are handmade.

Three Yellow Starfish: The Starfish brand is on Etsy.com and several children’s clothing sites. Their Ruffle Bloomers are so adorable. They can make any unisex hand-me-down tee shirt look feminine but not too girly. See Reversible Pinafores.

Vintage Lucy’s Boutique: Look for punk and vintage styles. Click Boutique Clothing (on left). Lucy’s clothes are handmade in Portland Oregon.

Punk Baby Clothes

Punk clothing for kids is hot with LA celebrities and hip parents in London. Look for hot pink and black (or red and black) combos, tattoo or skull onesies, and bright tutus.

  • DimplesAndDandelions.com: Punk Star Pink Onesie. This is practical. White or baby-pink tee shirts show every baby-food stain, but this one comes with its own leopard-camo.
  • Ooh La La Mama: Punk Rock baby dress.
  • My-Little-Sunshine.com: Lollipop Leopard Gift Set. Several stores carry this.
  • LaLaLing.com: Leopard onesie with Hello Kitty from Tokidoki Clothing, Marlo Ruffle Dress in Tree Green by Ella Moss.
  • PsychoBabyOnline.com: Jannuzzi Black Flying Heart Dress. Another good site is BabyWit.com.
  • LuckyLilDevil.com: Ramones Black Tutu Dress, Goth Purple Bat Frou Frou, unisex red and black “Sweet Child of Mine” Guns-&-Roses onesie.

Tattoo Clothes for Infants

Tattoos are very indie and can go with any clothing style.

  • Ruthless-Toothless.com: Check out these baby-friendly tattoo onesies and dresses. They sell out fast. Their Puppy, Sparrows, Maiko, and other styles have a sweetly hip Anime feel.
  • Badd Baby: This brand is a favorite for tattoo clothing. Check out: Pegasus, Pink Argyle, Pink Butterfly Tattoo, Pink Koi, Rebel Rocker, or anything. Look at different websites to find deals.
  • Jaminga: Asian Geisha or Skulls N Roses Onesies, Punk Rock Skater Dress With Personalized Tattoo, Punk Tutu Set With Splatter Skull, Pink Pirate Baby Leg Warmers.

Baby Tutus

Back in the 70s or 80s, punk girls rebelled against the goody-two-shoes prom-queen styles. A punky baby should wear her ballerina tutu with a masculine baby-boy jean jacket or clunky boy boots. Go the distance with tattoo baby tights.

  • DimplesAndDandelions.com: Black and Light Pink Ruffle Pettiskirt. They also have a Zebra Hat With Black Marabou, Zany Zebra Mary Janes (shoes), and a Zebra Tube Top. Most people wouldn’t spend this kind of money on one baby, but talk to grandmamma. Who knows? This website is a goldmine for infant clothes, but get them big enough to fit for a while.
  • IttyBittiesBoutique.com: If someone is looking for a spectacular gift, check out the Little Mermaid Tutu Dress. This is so adorable it might make moms want to try again for a girl.

There are well-priced baby tutu sets at many websites. Try PunkBabyClothes.net and rhinestone styles at BornFabulousBoutique.com. Etsy is good for well-priced tutus.

Rock and Roll Baby Girl Clothes

Get that little Madonna Wannabe into the zone at an early age. If a dress is bought a little big, Baby Sue can wear it as a frock when she’s small and wear it as a tee when she’s a toddler.

  • Rowdy Sprout Dress: Grateful Dead Ruffle Dress, AC/DC “For Those About to Rock” Ruffle Dress, and “The Who” Ruffle Dress.
  • Rowdy Sprout Onesie: The KISS Army Ruffle-Sleeve Tank Onesie gives a whole new meaning to pink.
  • Mini Shatsu: This brand has a great Short-Sleeve Pink Flames Onesie with a guitar print that wraps around to the back.
  • MommyCoutureDesigns.com: Black onesie with rhinestone words “Party Like a Rockstar.”
  • BabyRockApparel.com: Black onesie that says “Sorry Boys, I Only Date Rock Stars.”

These clothes should only be worn by the trendiest and hippest children. Start their bad attitudes at year one.

Babies love to pull and even gnaw on all forms of wires, they are best kept out of reach and sight if possible.
